AN OFFERING: Three Readings by Kareem M. Lucas

Join writer, performer, and director Kareem M. Lucas for AN OFFERING, a three-night series of staged readings at NYU’s Studio Tisch. Each night presents a different script-in-progress that pushes the boundaries of theatrical form, fusing Afro-surrealism, ritual, poetic language, and Black interiority. This is not just a reading, it’s a spiritual and artistic experience.

Whether witnessing a solo reckoning, an intergenerational dreamscape, or a radical reimagining of community healing, audiences are invited to lean in, reflect, and participate in the sacred act of witnessing new work be birthed.

Featuring Kareem’s signature voice, lyrical, intimate, and soulfully political, each reading stands alone and together as part of a larger artistic vision. Come to one. Come to all three. Come ready to feel something.
